Too Many Secrets (Cleo Sims Mystery #3)

Too Many Secrets (Cleo Sims Mystery #3) - Lynn Osterkamp What part would you change in the story, and why? Just one part, I would have Brandi brought up on charges for reporting that Sabrina was away with a friend. She had crucial information and refused to share it. Then she would be required to pay back all the money she spent while everyone thought Sabrina was missing.

Consider the main character: what does he or she believe in? Cleo is willing to fight for what is right. Whether it is the rights of someone dead or just a client.

What are the most revealing scenes? When Cleo learns about the secrets of Moxie and Gayle after her second time in the apparition chamber

They Still Call Me Sister

They Still Call Me Sister - Deborah Plummer Bussey Favourite character(s) … Really loved Kathy, her innocence with life helped to create a story within a story. She was constantly learning or seeing something new.

Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? I was pulled in from the first page. Loved the idea of Kathy becoming a nun. I had to force myself to put the book down when my lunch time was over, so I could sleep at night, to cook supper. Nothing about this book was a forced read for me.

Cover. The cover is so simple yet so important to the story.

Did you find that the cover and title represented what the story was really about? Yes, the cover and title represented the story. I can see Kathy still being called sister even if she is no longer a nun. It would probably be hard for friends and family to stop calling her sister.

Semmant

Semmant - Vadim Babenko Favourite scene …. When Lidia met Bogdan in the hotel. He was wearing a white gown and a lions mask. She had no idea who he was.

THE GARDEN The Unauthorized Biography of Adam and Eve

The Garden: The Unauthorized Biography of Adam and Eve - Paul T. Harry
What did you enjoy about this book? It was witty. More than book club member agreed that the dialogue and the way it was written was almost snarky but in a good way. Adam and Eve bind the story together amidst a host of characters that make for a more intriguing backdrop.

What are some of the major themes of this book? Discovery and family. The science fiction bits of the story provide unique discoveries for the characters and readers. The family element runs firmly in the background through the voices of Adam and Eve's children.

A Tale of the Other Kind: A Therian Novel

A Tale of the Other Kind - Leandi Cameron What did you think of the cover? Loved the image of Kai gently kissing Sienna. Hollywood couldn't have done it better.

Share a quote or two from the book. ‘You are beautiful, so beautiful, but you must die.' / "I on the other hand, feast on human blood." This writer definitely has a way with words.

What major emotion did the story evoke in you as a reader? Suspense. With every page you turned, you just wanted to keep wanting to know how the story ended.

Tell us whatever you thought. This was an unusual read. Not a big YA fan so have not read may YA books. The beginning seemed a little slow but quickly became a page turning book.
